Authentication context

In a number of situations the Service Provider may wish to have additional information in determining the authenticity and confidence they have in the information within an assertion. Authentication context permits the augmentation of assertions with additional information pertaining to the authentication of the Principal at the Identity Provider. For instance, details of multi-factor authentication can be included.
