2007 Nov 01: Two post-V2.0 SAML specifications have reached OASIS Standard status: the Metadata Profile for the OASIS Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) V1.x and the Metadata Extension for SAML V2.0 and V1.x Query Requesters.
2007 Jul 14: The SSTC approves Errata for SAML V2.0.
2005 Mar: SAML V2.0 is announced as an OASIS Standard.
2003 Nov: Liberty ID-FF V1.2, a terminal specification, is finalized by the Liberty Alliance.
2003 Sep: Liberty contributes ID-FF to OASIS.
2003 Sep: The SAML V1.1 specification is ratified by OASIS.
2003 Apr: Liberty releases ID-FF 1.1.
