Revision of SAML -- Right Here, Right Now from Mon, 2012-09-10 14:08
Since SAML 2.0 was standardized in 2005, the OASIS Security Services Technical Committee (TC) has added more than 20 additional Profiles covering many aspects of the use of SAML in different environments. Now, the Security Services TC is beginning work on SAML 2.1. This Webinar will briefly summarize the work which has already been done and discuss plans for SAML 2.1. The next generation, SAML 2.1, will streamline and reorganize the specifications to make it easier to implement and deploy SAML in a way which is both manageable and secure. SAML 2.1 will better align the functionality of SAML which is most commonly used, while making minor enhancements and adjustments to areas such as conformance.
Come and hear about our plans and give us feedback or join the TC to make sure your concerns get addressed.
